The Waterford AC Half Marathon attracts 2,500 runners and joggers to Waterford. The event serves as the club’s main fundraiser.

While money raised go towards the development of our juvenile club and the promotion of athletics in the city. Waterford AC provides over 300 training sessions a year from ages 5 to masters grade. The club are also delighted to be able to support many other organisations whom without their assistance the running of the event would not be possible.

We endeavour to provide a high quality event for great value. Our entry fee is only €40 plus booking fee regardless of when you register. This year we will have an increased prize fund.

All finishers will receive a medal and the famous Waterford bobble hat.

Our course has been measured and certified, the event is fully insured, and is Athletics Ireland Permit approved.
